The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers operates Cedar Creek Campground on Old Hickory Lake. It is conveniently located near The Hermitage, which is the home of President Andrew Jackson. Cedar Creek Campground is also a short drive from metropolitan Nashville, which offers a variety of shows, attractions, shopping and restaurants.
Cedar Creek has 59 campsites, which are equipped with water and electric hookups. The campground also has hot showers, laundry facilities and a dumping station. A large picnic shelter is also located on the grounds as is a playground.
A boat launch is also available for campers as an added convenience. For those who enjoy swimming there is a sand beach on the lake. A day use bath house is also available. The playground outside the campground near the beach area.

The campground is optimally located for fishing, watersports, swimming, boating, sailing and just relaxing. Reservations can be made year round, with the call center being open from 10 a.m. until midnight from March through October and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. from November through February.
