One of the campgrounds on Old Hickory Lake is Cages Bend Campground, which is near Hendersonville, Gallatin and Nashville. Cages Bend, which is operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, has 43 camping sites with electric and water hookups.
The campground also has a dumping stations, laundry facilities and a boat access ramp. Shoreline campsites are $24 per night and inland spots are $20 per night. Cages Bend has a picnic pavilion available near the center of the campground. A playground is also available for the children to enjoy.

Check-in and check-out times are set for 3 p.m. There is a gate house and a fee attendant campsite. To make reservations call (877) 444-6777 from 10 a.m. to midnight Eastern Standard Time from March 1 through October 31 and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. from November 1 through February.
Cages Bend offers access to the lake for boating, fishing, swimming and watersports. It is also in a good location for bird watching and enjoying wildlife. It is also conveniently located for easy access to the Nashville where there are numerous attractions, shows, shopping and restaurants.
